I'm back, for realsies.

H'ok, life's been kinda insane, but I'm feeling better and trying to motivate myself to a.) paint more and b.) blog more (and funny enough, b leads to more a!). So attempting to kick the dust off and try this again. Now with 1000% more pictures even!

Something I've been doing in my free time is painting up Dark Age miniatures. There's a game attached to it with some rocky history and a brand new second edition, but I've got about 3 other skirmish games I'd be playing if I had more free time before even looking at this one. However the line does have some really pretty models, and by not caring about the game attached I don't have any stress to paint, so these are "for funsies" and it's win-win for me!.

This lady is a Warwind. Fluff-wise they are one part ninja, one part religious fanatic, and serve as the lieutenants in the armies of the Forsaken.

I've got a few more models on the table, basically a starter set + some additional models, but they're being put aside because it's time for the Malifaux campaign, and for the painting portion of that I've held off on painting up my lady Kaeris.

Yes that is purple pants/gloves and pink hair. She's a hipster livin' in a steampunk world, but no one is willing to tell her off (except maybe Sonnia, but she has her own issues!) She is more or less done. I'm not so happy with the metallic blue on her harnass and backpack, so it might get touched up later once I figure out what to do, but until then here she is! I also need to pick a good base for her - I'm currently leaning towards the Dragon Forge Design City Streets, since they're nice and generic and I've already got my Colette crew based on them, so for consistency! But that's a decision for a later day.

She secretly wants to team up with Sue and start a rock band, but due to both of their hiring restrictions that is impossible, so she takes out her pent-up aggression by incinerating the enemies of the arcanists.
